Pavese poetry's show that he lived in a desperate intoxication of love. Although read Anglo-American modernist poets, he had an enormous sensitivity and this often made him seem like a romantic poet. He, in fact, was the romantic spirit of modernist culture. His verses, although alternate personal pain with a dolore cosmico, lead to good neighborly relations with verses of T. S. Eliot. But Pavese couldn’t endure life without love. In fact, he wanted the death to have the face of his girlfriend, unlike he doesn’t surrender. Therefore, it is entirely motivated poetry title and summary "The death will come and will have your eyes", translated in Albanian by Orjela Stafasani.
